Liza L. Wolf

Liza L. Wolf joined the executive team of Blue Sky Power as Chief Legal Officer and EVP in July 2011. She brings with her substantial experience in energy and project finance fields, as well as her over 20 years experience in large national and international law firms.

Prior to joining Blue Sky Power, Liza was a Member of the Business Law Group at Cozen O'Connor, with a focus in public and project finance, specializing in energy transactions. As a public and project finance attorney, she participated in more than $22 billion in financings on behalf of heath care and higher education facilities, municipalities, school districts, counties, state entities, transportation authorities, water and wastewater companies, natural gas companies and manufacturing facilities. In addition, Liza has worked extensively with publicly-traded and privately-held public utilities and energy companies, both on the regulated and non-regulated side.  For the development of clean energy facilities, Liza has represented various companies in structuring and overseeing on- and off-balance sheet financings, including securing taxable and tax-exempt debt and structuring, drafting and negotiating energy sales/services agreements, power purchase agreements and engineering, procurement and construction contracts.

Liza has provided government relations-related services to her clients, including legislative and executive branch advocacy and assistance with government funding programs. Earlier in her career, she worked for a member of the United States House of Representatives and the Former Commissioner of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. Liza was the founder and Vice President of New Jersey Women in Public Finance and the former treasurer and a member of the Board of Managers of the Camden County Health Services Center. Liza continues to be involved in numerous political and charitable organizations.

Liza received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Union College in Schenectady New York and her Law Degree from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia. She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
